After the transportation debacle the two previous days, we received a taxi voucher to get to Epcot for our 7:45 breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey's. That probably gave us an extra hour of sleep! It was a quiet walk across the resort that early in the morning!
The boys were quite taken with the Contemporary resort, since the monorail runs right through the middle. Chef Mickey's breakfast is a character meal, so we got to meet Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Minnie.
The boys were a little bashful about Minnie. They didn't really want to even talk to her or have a picture taken, and did so only after we pointed out that it would be rude. Minnie got a kick out of their bashfulness.
From the Contemporary, we made our way to Epcot for our first day there.
