Grandma's 2016 visit

Grandma stayed at my parents' house for a little over three weeks this winter.  We managed to see her (and my parents and Brian's family) three weekends in a row, which was quite a treat.  Everyone came up to our house one weekend and caught the boys' indoor soccer game and Rudy's basketball game.  We had a lot of fun watching the kids all play together at the house.

We spent the other two weekends at my parents'.  Valentine's Day was our 'Christmas' gift exchange.  The kids were also treated to an iFly adventure.  We spent a lot of time at the house again, playing games and enjoying the time together.

New presents, and this kid is happy with a styrofoam bowl...

The big kids love nothing more than to sneak up to Brian's old room for some horseplay...

A few rounds of pie face.  Poor Brady got it every single turn!

Skiing, round 3

James was able to sneak away for skiing with us for one day.  We didn't get to use our passes as much as we'd hoped, since much of the winter was uncharacteristically warm.  I think we went three times, though, which was enough to get our money's worth out of the passes and to keep the boys basic skills intact!

iFly

Oma and Papa got the kids certificates to iFly for Valentine's Day.  Brady and Teddy were totally fearless.  Rudy was a little nervous, but ended up loving it!  Each kid got two flights, with an extra high one to finish up.

Shep was fascinated watching them!

Everyone watching got a huge kick out of watching Teddy.  He weighs so little that the employee had a hard time holding him steady!
