Two
of Brady's friends, Gavin and Joel, invited him to play on their club
lacrosse team this summer. We weren't sure about adding another sport
to our schedule, since we were feeling pretty booked with two club
soccer teams and Brady's school team. However, we figured this might be
his last real chance to give lacrosse a try. It's been a little nutty
some days, but I think he's enjoying playing lacrosse with friends.
If it's raining...just watch the game from under the chair...?
His team made it to the league semi-finals this weekend. He has made it to about half of the practices, but has still managed to improve over the course of the season. He usually play a lot of defense, but he was happy to have the opportunity to play attack today. And - he scored! He scored three goals in the first two games of the season, but then hit a bit of a dry spell with good shots but no goals. He was glad to break that streak today, and I was thrilled to actually get a video of the goal!
