Rudy and I fell in love with another local farm today on our berry picking adventure. We picked 2 quarts of blueberries, 2 quarts of red raspberries, 1 pint of black raspberries, and 1 quart of yellow raspberries. And all in two hours. The weather was beautiful - low 70s, sunny, and breezy. We could see the mountains from the farm and the produce was prolific. We could have easily stayed and picked SO much more, but I forgot the sunscreen and didn't want to risk turning the same color as the red raspberries!

Fifth birthday party weekend
Rudy had his fifth birthday party this weekend. Since he still wants to be an animal saver, we thought it would be fun to have his party at the Wildlife Rescue Center. He got to pick one animal to have his "up close" encounter with: owl, possum, snake, or turtle.
He picked the owl, so we made this cupcake owl cake for the party:

The bald eagle was very interested in us. The guide thought it might have been that he was interested in the kids' stuffed animals!
Opening gifts:
Love this picture, just because it looks like Bella and Abby are about to face off...

Sweet! A new Razr trike!

Rudy wanted to hop into the bathtub to play with his new hot wheels set...
