Bunch of monkeys...

Which is more fun?

Getting dirty or getting clean?

Sandmen

Pre-Easter Egg Hunt

The moms club had an Easter egg hunt on Friday. Brady was pretty excited with all his goodies, and Rylan was thrilled when he stumbled upon some jelly beans while I wasn't looking...and I was impressed with how handsome they look in their Easter clothes!

Drunken Wildebeests?

Brady was telling me about his new book, in which there are wildebeests...

Brady: These wildebeests are bad.

Kelly: Why are they bad?

Brady: They had too much to drink.

Kelly: WHAT?

Brady: They had too much to drink.

Kelly: What were they drinking?

Brady: Milk. They had too much milk.

A lot of hard work!

James wrapped up his latest woodworking project today - our new bed looks amazing! (Now we just have to decide on a comforter!)

Defiance...at 9 months old

There are only 2 things in the house that Rylan can reach that he is not allowed to play with - the dog bowls and the DVD player. Guess what his two favorite toys are?!? He'll look at me, grin, and then sprint (well, crawl quickly) towards one of them. Once he reaches it, he'll turn and wait for me to say NO and then grin happily at me. What does this mean for us when he's 16???

Game of chase

Rylan has discovered how much fun it is to play "chase." He'll start to crawl away and then stop, look back at you expectantly, and then start laughing. He giggles the whole time you chase him, and fully expects to be tickled once he's caught!

Social Climber

Brady and James went upstairs this morning, and Rylan was not about to be left behind! I'm not particularly excited about this new skill!

Beautiful day in the neighborhood

It was 82 and sunny with a slight breeze today...perfect day to play outside. Brady has finally figured out how to ride his bike, although he still prefers his Big Wheels. He was running errands for me today; he'd ride to the "store" and then run inside for whatever was on his list.

Rylan was tired of being held, so I got out the Lion King car. I put the brick (used in the picture to make sure he doesn't fall flat on his face) in the seat so the car is heavier to push, which makes it less likely that it'll get too far ahead of him. He was pretty content to stand still and watch Brady ride past him on his laps around the circle.

Bad hair day

This is what happens when little boys go to bed with wet hair...

Ready to walk?

Rylan can't even stand by himself yet, but he thinks he's ready to walk!

Future Tiger Woods?

James and Brady went golfing on Sunday. Kelly and Rylan rode along. Brady hit a couple shots better than his dad...

The boys...

We had a fun weekend just hanging out at home, with no particular agenda. We don't get too many of those!

It was even warm enough to play in the sandbox, although Rylan was not entirely sure he liked the sand itself!
