First Communion...and brothers....

This series of pictures from Brady's first communion day makes me laugh every time I look at them.  Brady is trying to hard to be still and smile, and Rudy is just being silly...

You may also notice that Brady is wearing a different suit than in the later pictures.  Oma helped him get dressed and didn't realize that Brady had pulled a size 14 suit out of his closet, instead of the smaller suit that actually fits!  I was so busy getting breakfast ready and everything else done for the day that I didn't notice until he was getting into the car!

First Communion Day

We had a busy day planned for the large crowd in town for Brady's first communion!  After breakfast (and pictures), we headed into church.

And then some more pictures...(there was no photography allowed in the church, so we had to make up for it before and after!)

Next, it was home for a quick change before heading to the field for a picnic before Brady's baseball game.   

Some playground time for the non-baseball players:

Ike is the third kid to fit inside this jacket on drizzly days!

 

It was probably the slowest, most boring game that Brady's team has had all season!  The game ended 1-0, with Brady's team ahead.  (This is compared to their most recent game, which they won 20-1!)
