B (reading the Blockbuster disk): John....Adams. When will he be president?
J: No, this was a long time ago. Do you remember who the first president was?
B: No.
J: George...
B: Washington!
J: Right. George Washington was our first president and John Adams was our second president.
B: Oh.
J: Actually, John Adams was our first vice president.
B: What's that?
J: Well, if something happens to the president, if he gets sick or dies while he is president, then the vice president becomes the president right away so we don't have to wait to pick a new one.
