Ohio visit

We had a pleasant few days visiting Grandma.  The first day, we were all happy to just be at the house.  We played games, the kids played outside, and Brady baked a cake for Aunt Elaine's birthday.  We took Grandma up to vote.  Visited the library.  Had dinner with Aunt Elaine, Uncle Jerry, Aunt Jane, Chris, Reanne, Vicky, and baby Teegun.

Wednesday was the complete opposite!  We hit three museums, starting with the Port Clinton air museum.  It's mostly focused on the Ford tri-motor plane and its role in serving the Ohio islands for over 20 years.  We all were fascinated by one of the first transcontinental TWA ads: coast to coast in only 48 hours!

Doesn't it look comfortable??  This was a cabin chair!

The rest of the day was:  lunch at the diner, popcorn factory (grape popcorn, anyone?), Ohio veterans museum, print museum, and ice cream.  Phew!

Thursday morning, we did a leaf painting project and the boys played outside between rain showers.  We were back on the road again after lunch.

Love that this swingset has entertained so many generations!
