To the pumpkin patch!

I was lucky enough to be able to chaperone Brady's first kindergarten field trip. We ventured out to a local pumpkin patch. They had a corn maze, hay mazes, hay ride, playgrounds, corn box.

His whole class, minus the one poor kid who was too sick to come:
Brady in the "corn box". I think we're still finding corn in his pockets!
They even had the strangest little "petting zoo"...with your typical a slew of goats, 2 sheep, 3 cows, 1 pig, 1 rabbit...and 2 llamas, 1 bison, and a zebra! The animals were not willing to be pet by 100 screaming kindergartners!
It was cold - very, very cold and windy, but the kids still had a blast! It took some effort to convince them not to pick the largest pumpkins in the field, since the kids had to somehow manage to drag them home on the buses after school!
On the hayride:
All the kids and the freezing chaperones!

And, this is the lovely Madison. Brady is so funny to watch around her! He is quite the gentlemen, letting her take her turn first and putting his hand on her shoulder to guide her through the maze. :)
