Lila and Teddy came for a visit to our house, which we dubbed Camp Whippoorwill. I was a little worried that Lila might be homesick, but she was fine. Her parents had prepared her well and we kept her busy enough that all was fine.
Oma and Papa brought the kids up on Saturday afternoon. We had some play time at the house that afternoon. The kids liked exploring all of the different toys, but the cats were the real hit!
TinkerToys:
(Teddy enjoyed non-traditional tinkertoy playtime...)
Of course, when Teddy heard a vacuum, he had to go help.

Lila told us that her granddaddy always has doughnuts for breakfast for her. We didn't have any doughnuts, but we had the ingredients to make some homemade ones. Lila was a great helper.
We needed a fun activity for when Oma and Papa left and the pool was the perfect distraction. Lila swims like a fish! We told her she's ready for swim team.
Sunday night was snowcones!
We resisted the urge to give this kid a haircut, but couldn't resist the mohawk.
Playtime outside...
Painting...
Brady went to camp Monday morning, so we dove into the dress up box and came out with a dragon, frog, and superhero...
After dress up, it was time to head home. James drove the kids most of the way home and met Rebecca for lunch.
