Wand Creation

Brady needed a wand for his Harry Potter Halloween costume.  Rudy had already laid claim to the MagiQuest wand from Great Wolf Lodge for his costume, so a new wand was needed. In Harry Potter, wizards have to go to Ollivanders to get their wands. In our house, aspiring wizards have to round up materials from the craft supplies:  a stick from Dad's workshop, hot glue and gun, and silver spray paint.  With help from Mom to avoid burned fingers, we applied the glue in the desired pattern, waited for it to dry, and then spraypainted.  Not a bad result...but you'll have to check the Halloween post to see the finished product.  

Note that even as I type this, Rudy is telling me that boy magic-cans are wizards and girl magic-cans are witches.  Love the pronunciation.
