Grandma volunteers to work every year at the Experimental Aircraft Association fly in and pancake breakfast. She didn't want to miss out this year, even though her party was the same day. She invited the whole family to the event, her treat!
This year, the EAA offered free flights to kids ages 8-17. I was pretty jealous, since I've never flown in a non-commercial plane myself! At first, the boys both said they weren't going to do it. We didn't really give them a choice; by the time came to board, they were fighting about who would be the co-pilot!
